Dance Troupe Practice

Dance Troupe Practice (DTP)a Vancouver based dance collective begins the programming of the Malibu Mobile Museum with a month and a half residency during the months of June and July. The 5 year-old collective was founded in a philosophy that explores the border zones between dance and life. Their practice leads to the creation of several performances including movement, text, live sound, and video; and DTP continues to create a steady out-put of unique, raw and challenging material. Their residency will explore the possibilities of the vehicle as a producer of content through movement, popular culture, and the history of its current location, The Waldorf Hotel. Rehearsing every Wednesday evening on site and culminating in a Live performance.
Dance Troupe has performed at many conventional and non-convetional venues such as Live Bienalle, Square Waves Festival, Dancing On the Edge Festival, 12 Min Max, W2, Queen Elizabeth Park.
